OUR
HISTORY:
Legend
has it that the first Buffalo
Style chicken wings were served
at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo,
New York in 1964. Soon, other
Buffalo restaurants added the
spicy wings to their menus and
everyone in town discovered the
taste.
Eddie
Hauck, a native of Buffalo, moved
to Florida in 1970. His parents
Ed Senior and Jane were already
living in Fort Lauderdale.
As
Eddie met and talked with other
Buffalo natives who had moved
south, he discovered that like
him, they all wished there was
a local restaurant serving their
delicious Buffalo Style chicken
wings. Well, Eddie did something
about it. In 1974, he opened
the first "Wings 'N Things"
Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale.
Eddie's
Buffalo friends had their wish.
As word would spread they flocked
to "Wings 'N Things"
to down platefuls of Buffalo
Wings served with celery sticks
and Eddie's own bleu cheese dressing.
Soon
they started introducing their
friends to the magic of original
Buffalo Wings and those friends
brought their friends well the
rest is history.

most illustrious career achievements.
Its 16 inches high, weighs 35
pounds and sits on a two-inch
marble base. With the classic
Butkus pose, the consummate linebacker,
hands resting slightly on his
knees, poised to attack.

pick of the Rams in 1977 and
played in Los Angeles for four
years. In 1979, he was the second
